Our Solution

Empower Ghana is a social business committed to improving lives and promoting health through research and innovative projects. The projects are backed up over 15 years of extensive research and experience. By leveraging our expertise with similar successful projects in Argentina and China, we aim to create impactful solutions that empower communities to thrive.

Telemedicine and Referral

Leveraging Digital Technology: By utilizing digital technology, the initiative aims to overcome traditional barriers to healthcare access and deliver services efficiently and effectively. This digital platform enables remote monitoring, regular interactions, and the digitalization of healthcare processes.

Patient and Family Empowerment

Our program gives patients and their loved ones more control over healthcare decisions. This means providing them with information, building their knowledge, and including them as active participants in the care process.

Consultations

Promoting Gender Equality & Empowering Nurses: The business model places a strong emphasis on training and empowering young nurses. Through specialized training, access to tools, and utilization of software, the model enhances their capabilities and enables them to provide high-quality healthcare services that go beyond their traditional scope of practice.

Education and Research

Evidence-Based Approach: The business model draws on recent studies conducted by consortium members and research findings from team members. This evidence-based approach ensures that the services provided align with proven effectiveness and best practices.

Care Coordination and Monitoring

Emphasizing Prevention and Remote Monitoring: Shifting the focus from a reactive to a proactive healthcare model, the initiative places a strong emphasis on prevention and regular remote monitoring

Outreach

Targeting the “Unreached” Population: Focus on serving remote areas from Ghana. Recognizing the unique healthcare needs of this group, the initiative aims to address their health challenges, which have been largely overlooked by the traditional healthcare system.
